The GC men will try to muddy the conference standings even further when they host the Pirates at 7:30 p.m.

The GC men endured a lopsided defeat at NWF State this week but still find themselves very much in the mix for one of two the top two seeds advancing to the state tournament at season's end. The Commodores (13-7, 1-2) are one game out of first place and can create a three-way tie for second with a win over Pensacola (14-7, 2-1).

The Pirates are taking the floor for the first time since posting a 65-61 home win over NWF State last Saturday. Each of Pensacola's three Panhandle games this season have been decided by four points or less.

Sophomore guards Denzel Richardson and RaAnthony Sanders score 11.9 and 11.4 points per game, respectively. Kevin Baker (10.0 ppg) and Oskars Reinfelds (9.5 ppg) join Richardson and Sanders in a contingent of players combining for 15.9 3-point attempts a game.
