GCSC to Honor Leon Miller at Upcoming Basketball Game
Panama City, FL–Gulf Coast State College is scheduled to honor former GCSC counselor, Men’s Basketball Associate Coach, and local legend Leon Miller at the GCSC versus South Georgia Technical College men’s basketball game on Thursday, December 9, at 7:00 p.m. in the GCSC Billy Harrison Field House.
Leon Miller served as a College counselor from 1969-1999 and as the Men’s Basketball Associate Coach from 1975-1977. Through his role at the College and his prominent presence in the local community, Miller has been considered a local legend and community mentor for many decades.
Gulf Coast State College invites the community to join us in honoring Mr. Miller and to watch the game. Alumni from the Men’s Basketball Teams of 1975-1977 will also be attending the game to honor Mr. Miller and be recognized during halftime.
