GC Baseball earns a spot in the postseason for the first time since 2016

Panama City, FL – In only his fourth season as Head Baseball Coach, Tyler Younger has lead the Commodores to an exciting 2025 season with a strong overall record of 31-13 and 15-9 record in conference play.  The team has clinched a spot in postseason play for the first time since 2016.  The Commodores have finished their regular season and will now watch as Northwest Florida State wraps up their season to see who will win the Panhandle Conference Championship title.

The Commodores will host a best-of-three series on Frazier Field in the FCSAA Region 8 Regional Tournament starting Friday, May 2.  The games will be played on Friday and Saturday, with a Sunday game if needed. They will face off against one of the teams from the Citrus Conference.  The winner will move on to the FCSAA Division I / NJCAA South Atlantic District Baseball Championship in Port Charlotte, Florida.
