Commodores climb to #7 After thrilling Thanksgiving Classic run
After taking down two ranked teams at the 2025 Pensacola State Thanksgiving Classic, the Commodores jumped up to #7 in the nation in the latest rankings.
On the first day of the Classic, the Commodores battled past #5 Jones College with a 74–70 win. Trent Lincoln led the way with 22 points and 7 assists. Iyran Francis powered his way to a double-double with 19 rebounds and 11 points, and Traevon Koch added 15 points to help secure the victory.
Next up was #3 Daytona State, and it was a nail-biter from start to finish. Daytona barely slipped away with a 71–68 win. Trent Lincoln finished with 19 points and 8 assists, Iyran Francis pulled down 11 rebounds, and Aiden Caulker added 15 points.
On the final day, the Commodores stayed steady and strong against #23 Panola College, dominating in a 91–71 victory. Six different Commodores scored in double figures. Trent Lincoln finished with 26 points and 6 assists, Iyran Francis grabbed 10 rebounds, Aiden Caulker scored 14, Augustas Merkys added 12, Traevon Koch put up 15, and Jabari Quarterman added 10.
