Lincoln named Panhandle Conference Player of the Year
Gulf Coast State sophomore guard Trent Lincoln has been named the 2026 Panhandle Conference Player of the Year. Lincoln had an outstanding season for the Commodores and was one of the top players in the conference all year. The sophomore guard led Gulf Coast in scoring and helped guide the team to a strong conference finish and a berth in the FCSAA Region 8 Tournament. Throughout the season, Lincoln showed his ability to score, create plays for his teammates, and lead the team in big moments. He consistently stepped up during conference play and delivered several strong performances against some of the top teams in the Panhandle Conference.
