Chante Stonewall enters first season as Assistant Coach of the Lady Commodores Basketball Program during the 2025-26 season.

Coach Stonewall joins the program after completing her third season as a professional overseas women's basketball player in Germany. Prior to, Stonewall was apart of University of Missouri (Mizzou) women’s basketball staff as a graduate assistant May 2022-2024, responsible for operations.

During Stonewall's college playing days was a recognizable name in both conference and national respects for women's hoops. Stonewall spent her college playing years at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, under Hall Of Famer head coach Doug Bruno. Stonewall closed her career with All-America Honorable Mention acclaim (AP, WBCA, USBWA) as well as All-Big East First Team and Defensive Player of Year honors. She led the 2020 DePaul squad in scoring (17.4 PPG) on a roster that ranked No. 2 nationally in points per game, assists, and made 3-pointers per game. The Blue Demons finished the 2019-20 season ranked No. 14 (USA TODAY) in the country and won their third straight Big East Tournament title. the Big East’s Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a senior.  Stonewall finished her career at DePaul as No. 11 scorer all-time with 1,622 career points. Stonewall not only led her team with ranks as high as Top 10 in the Nation multiple times within her four years, Stonewall was also a part of BIG EAST's Regular Season and Conference Tournament Championship teams three years in a row.

Following college, Stonewall was highlighted on every WNBA Collegiate 2020 Draft Watch-List from October 2019-March 2020. Although Stonewall went undrafted, she signed under Regeneracom Sports Agency in 2020 and continued playing professionally overseas in France, Hungary, and Germany being an impact player even on the professional level.

Stonewall completed her Master's of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis in Positive Coaching and Athletic Leadership from Mizzou magna cum laude status. With a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and Sociology from DePaul with  magna cum laude status and the BIG EAST Student-Athlete of the Year award 2020.
