Lady Commodores Push Conference Win Streak to 25 with Weekend Sweep

The trip began at St. Petersburg College, where the Lady Commodores set the tone from the opening serve, securing a 25-16, 25-19, 25-21 sweep. Outside hitter Danna Aguilera led the way with 10 kills, while also adding 5 service aces and 12 digs. Kya Colston was equally effective, finishing with 11 kills on an outstanding .500 hitting percentage, while setter Ella Britton directed the attack with 24 assists. Libero Keira Mathis anchored the back row with 11 digs.
The team carried that momentum into their matchup against State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota, earning another sweep by scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-18. Aguilera delivered a standout performance with 17 kills, 13 digs, and 2 aces. Colston added 7 kills and 3 blocks, while Mathis anchored the back row with 17 digs. Britton ran the offense with 22 assists, Addison Howie contributed 14 assists along with 13 digs, and Miliani Avila-Bauzo added 16 digs to round out the defensive effort.
The weekend wrapped up with a dominant showing at Pasco-Hernando State, where the Lady Commodores controlled the match from start to finish in a 25-12, 25-20, 25-17 victory. Aguilera continued her strong play with 16 kills on a remarkable .593 hitting percentage and 3 service aces. Colston added to her efficient weekend with 9 kills on an excellent .538 hitting percentage, and 2 blocks, while middle blocker Skylar Johnston contributed 5 kills on an impressive .556 hitting percentage and 4 blocks. Britton steered the offense with 34 assists, and Mathis anchored the back row with 10 digs.
