Pensacola, FL- The Gulf Coast State College Lady Commodores continued their impressive run, defeating Pensacola State in four sets, 16-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-23, to extend their conference regular-season winning streak to an astounding 39 consecutive matches dating back to 2023.
 
After dropping the opening set, the Lady Commodores quickly regrouped, dominating the next two sets with strong offensive play and consistent serving. The fourth set proved to be a battle, but Gulf Coast held firm to secure the victory and keep their remarkable streak alive.
 
The win adds to another successful chapter in the Lady Commodores' ongoing conference dominance as they continue to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
 
The Lady Commodores will return to Pensacola State later this week to compete in the Pirates Premier Tournament on Thursday and Friday. On Thursday, October 16, they will face # 25 Jones College at noon, followed by a matchup against top-ranked Heartland Community College at 6pm. The tournament continues on Friday, October 17, when Gulf Coast St. will take on Enterprise State at 9am before closing out the event against #17 Illinois Central at 1pm/
